The Vanguard 10th Anniversary Event is Saturday. From today until 7:30 am on Wednesday, all tickets will be 20% off or $40.The Vanguard on July 30 is turning 10 years old. Over that time the Vanguard has grown from a small blog to an important journalistic voice in our community – covering issues that would otherwise go uncovered and leading important community discussions.
On Saturday, July 30 from 5 to 8 pm at the Davis Senior Center the Vanguard will be celebrating its remarkable accomplishments in the first ten years and looking forward to the future. Speakers include: Mayor Robb Davis, School Board President Madhavi Sunder, Former Councilmember Lamar Heystek, and Attorneys Paul Boylan and Josh Kaizuka.
