COURT WATCH: Indigent, Unhoused Man Nearly Faces 30 Days in Jail Over Unaffordable Program Fee
Judge Alma Hernandez granted an unhoused defendant an additional 30 days to enroll in a court-ordered treatment program, following an acknowledgment by his defense attorney that the court had not been informed of his inability to afford the requisite enrollment fee.
