Police Officer, Expert Witness Testify in Yolo DUI Trial as Testimony Highlights Six-Month Delay in Police Report

Testimony in an ongoing Yolo County DUI trial on Tuesday detailed an arresting officer’s observations of impairment, including dilated pupils and failed field sobriety tests, despite a 0.0% blood alcohol content. The proceedings also highlighted a six-month delay in the officer’s formal report release and a toxicology report identifying amphetamine, methamphetamine, and THC in the defendant’s blood, with the trial scheduled to continue July 22.
