ICE, TSA Target Airport Travelers with Expired Visas in Expanded Immigration Enforcement

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) have reportedly expanded airport operations, targeting undocumented immigrants and individuals with expired visas for detention, including those without criminal records or deportation orders, according to reports obtained by The New York Times. This expansion prompted California State Senator Scott Wiener to introduce SB 747, known as the No Kings Act, legislation designed to allow individuals to sue federal agents for alleged constitutional rights violations.
