BOP Director Pledges Action on Restraints after OIG Report
The Office of the Inspector General has issued a memorandum to the Federal Bureau of Prisons recommending six changes to its policies regarding the use of restraints, including clearer definitions, more frequent checks, and more documentation, to prevent abuse and injury to incarcerated individuals.
