Los Angeles Correctional Officer, Alleged Trafficker Charged in Cocaine Smuggling Case
A California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation officer and a suspected drug trafficker were charged with conspiracy to sell a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for sale, and transportation of a controlled substance after authorities allegedly discovered 20 kilograms of cocaine and $200,000 in cash at a Rowland Heights home.
