State Assemblyman Bill Dodd’s campaign for State Senate today began airing television ads throughout Senate District 3. The ad, which is available here, emphasizes the need to solve big issues facing Californians and their families, using a more cooperative and solutions-based approach.

It conveys Dodd’s belief that California’s middle class, now and in future generations, will have greater opportunity for a better life if leaders work, through teamwork and compromise, to fix our schools, roads, water systems, issues of inequality and campaign finance, as well as other fundamental problems facing the state.

“I want people to know I hear their need for a better, stronger California that offers a fair shake for everyone who works hard,” said Dodd. “We must make California, and our middle class, stronger. That means being both pro-environment and pro-business, and having Democrats and Republicans work together while still sticking to their principles.”

Dodd is running for the 3rd Senate District, which includes all of Napa and Solano Counties, as well as portions of Contra Costa, Sacramento, Sonoma and Yolo Counties. It includes the cities of Petaluma, Cotati, Rohnert Park, Sonoma, Pleasant Hill, Martinez, American Canyon, Calistoga, Napa, St. Helena, Yountville, Benicia, Dixon, Fairfield, Rio Vista, Suisun City, Vacaville, Vallejo, Davis, Winters, Woodland and Isleton.

After a successful 25-year business career, Dodd served four terms on the Napa County Board of Supervisors, and currently represents the 4th Assembly District.
