Help the Vanguard Update Our Website

Vanguard_-_VWe have had an amazing amount of support in the last three months and I would like to give a heartfelt thanks to everyone who has contributed to help the Vanguard.

We are now just 2000 dollars short of our goal.  The editorial board met last night and we have submitted proposed website changes to our web developer who will then get us an estimate on the cost.

The last time we had a major update was four years ago, so we are due.

In 2006, the Davis Vanguard was launched on a free blogger site. Covering local news and commentary it quickly grew and in 2009, we launched our own custom site. It has been nearly four years since the Vanguard upgraded to the current davisvanguard.org site. But times are changing and we need to move with the times.

The Vanguard is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. In addition to donations from our readers, we have advertising opportunities to tap into our large and growing market of 120,000 readers a month mainly from Davis, Yolo County and Sacramento.

You can log onto our secure server to donate by credit card here or you can mail a check to:

Davis Vanguard
P.O. Box 4715

IMPORTANT CREDIT CARD INSTRUCTIONS

Some donors have gotten error messages – we think we have identified them.

If your credit card is not accepted, try another web browser.  We have had good success on Firefox and Chrome, but had problems with Internet Explorer and Safari.

If you have done all this and still have problems – please contact 530-400-2512 and we can run it manually.

Thanks again

  1. David,
Thank you so much for the service you provide. I’m working on a deadline for my memoir so probably won’t be posting for a while. Keep up the good work. I wish you & your family many blessings & happiness.
