David, Good luck in your fund raising, you’re gonna need it. I will be tuning in to listen to Tansey on the election. Although I rarely respect her opinion, due to her basing most issues on race, I’ll be listening. Love, Bob
I’m sure David appreciates you generously adding your two cents to his donation collection.
David, I admire your ability to sort out which comments you choose to get angry about and inform us with your response and not waste time on those others. About my responses on your Vanguard Radio program, I should have explained more about the kind of town it was besides growing up in the 30s and 40s which was during the Depression and WWII. My small resort hometown of Long Branch NJ had a significant Italian and Jewish immigrant population from Europe plus migrants from our southern states . Most of my classmates including me were first generation born in N.J. So the immigrant population seemed not to share American racial attitudes at that time. My parents and others in the black community schooled me on racial realities. The town experienced no racial violence although there was racism, which over time, the NAACP effectively handled. Therefore, I experienced the deprivations of poverty more deeply growing up because it made me feel powerless. So, I reinvented myself. Finally, the election of President Obama alone is huge! To paraphrase Bobby Kennedy’s favorite quote: Some men see things as they are and ask why? others see things as they never were and ask why not?’
…Deprivations of Poverty, Racial Realities and the NAACP handling something effectively…? Your perceptions of the world are always wrongly based on racial issues. I have heard and read statements from you for years and it is always the same, your racist issues.
