“Saving California Communities: Starting Here!” – a Davis community event

SCC will host Saving California Communities: Starting Here!, a Davis community conversation to explore possibilities and begin to craft a local course of action that joins with others in setting our state on the road to reform. The event is also sponsored by the Office of Government and Community Relations at UC Davis.

Objectives for the Day:

  • Increase Davis community awareness about the local impacts of state financial decisions and inaction
  • Build general knowledge about the state/local financial structure
  • Inform Davis community about reform efforts underway
  • Alert Davis community about advocacy possibilities
  • Plan next steps
