Madhavi is a candidate for Davis school board trustee in November, and last week she received endorsements from the Davis Enterprise and the Sacramento Bee.
She has just concluded her tour of the 20 schools in the Davis district and has also been writing weekly columns for the Davis Vanguard to share some of her views on educational topics, ranging from the achievement gap to arts and music education to technology education and school climate.
