Families for Madhavi Sunder for School Board is approaching its final weekend of precinct walking before the November 4 election! Pictured here from an earlier precinct walk are Diana Glick, Madhavi Sunder, California Supreme Court Associate Justice Cruz Reynoso, and Daniel Parrella.
This weekend, the Sunder campaign is reaching out to poll voters and reminding them to vote. Please join us for one of the following three precinct walking events: (1) Saturday, November 1, 3-5 pm: North & West Davis. We will meet in the SaveMart parking lot at Anderson and Covell at 3 pm and will head out from there; (2) Sunday, November 2, 3-5 pm: North El Macero/South Davis. We will meet in the Nugget parking lot in South Davis (409 Mace Blvd) at 3 pm and will then walk in El Macero and other areas of South Davis; and (3) Monday, November 3, 5-7 pm: West Davis. We will meet in the Westlake Market parking lot in West Davis (1260 Lake Blvd) at 3 pm and cover two West Davis precincts.
Madhavi Sunder, a professor of law at UC Davis since 1999, is a daughter of immigrants, attended public schools before graduating from Harvard and from Stanford Law School, and actively participates in the Davis community. She is the only candidate to visit all 20 schools in Davis and has catalogued her tour, along with beautiful photographs of each campus taken by Rik Keller Photography at http://www.sunderforschools.org/schooltour.
