December’s 2nd Friday ArtAbout will be a bright evening with new artists, new participating businesses, live music, and gorgeous twinkle lights. As part of Davis Downtown’s Light Up the Holidays, several downtown businesses will keep their lights on and holiday décor up for the community to enjoy. Stroll through lively downtown on December 12th evening, while visiting the 23 ArtAbout venues hosting artist’s receptions with hors d’oeuvres, wine, art, and sales!
Special this month, Watermelon Music will be a part of the 2nd Friday ArtAbout for the very first time in their 18 years of business! The community is invited to come celebrate with them and to enjoy live music and a fantastic window display of music related art collages by Tom Corbett.

Michael Musial is a classically trained pianist with a primary interest in guitar. He can be heard playing American Primitive style covers, original arrangements of cover songs and a few original instrumentals as well. Joaquin Feliciano’s performances burst with energy, humor, emotion, and wisdom. Augmented by his engaging storytelling and spare guitar style, Joaquin’s original and cover songs include early and contemporary folk and cowboy music and lullabies that speak about the sorrow, joy, pain, absurdity, and learning that accompany life’s transitions.
