As I write this latest plea I note that our subscription drive article has received more than 1600 views. I cannot help but wonder what if…
What if just 800 of those 1600 people were willing to pledge just $10 a month. $10 a month is nothing to most people – it is an extra meal out for one, perhaps a movie, perhaps a cheap trinket.
But 800 people giving the Vanguard just $10 per month would solve most of our financial issues. We would be able to hire full time staff. We would be able to dig deeper into the issues that matter to you. We would be able to have to technological and infrastructure needs taken care of.
In short, if just 800 people would pledge just $10 a month – we would not have to have these month-long drives for funding.
And while that is a reach within our grasp, all we are asking for now is 11. Eleven people to step up and contribute $10 a month on a recurring basis. That is it.
It is a modest request. We could be done with this by lunch. You know what value the Vanguard brings, and that is why you are here today. So help us keep going with our mission and pledge today.
