The Vanguard Still Needs Your Help This Month

dv_square_socialUpdate: We have received $1300 in just two days.  But we still need $700 by Monday.

Previous: We thought we were okay.  But this week we learned that a $2000 promised donation had fallen through.

The reality is that the Vanguard costs money to run – a growing portion of that money is to pay for our staff, our website and server needs, and our office space – all of which are costs that are increasing.

Running the Vanguard is a lot of work – for not that much compensation.  While I believe in our mission and what we are doing – it costs money to run.

Despite increased costs we are still running it on the cheap.

We offer more authors, more coverage, more articles, and more public outreach and dialogue.

We need more resources so we can higher more staff and cover more stuff. We have four paid employees and that’s with me taking an extremely meager salary for my 100-plus hours a week of work. And I do mean extremely meager. I’m not complaining but asking for donations is part of how we pay the bills and hopefully expand.

So we need your help.

You can make a one-time donation via GoFundMe: https://www.gofundme.com/davisvanguard

You can make an ongoing donation via PayPal: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=VP8S7PZGL7KXG

Or you can send an old-fashioned check to the Vanguard: Davis Vanguard, PO Box 4715, Davis, CA 95617
