Rancho Yolo will host a forum on the proposed Nishi Gateway development at 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, in the clubhouse at the senior community, 620 Pole Line Road, across from the DMV, just north of the corner at Fifth Street.
Proponents and the opponents of this infill project will present their cases and take questions. The project is proposed to include a mix of university-related research park development and high-density urban housing. The Nishi parcel is bordered on the south by Interstate 80, to the north by the railroad tracks and to the east by Olive Drive.
Both Nishi Gateway Developer Tim Ruff and Alan Pryor, proponent of No on A, will present their arguments and answer questions from the audience.
Measure A is on the Davis ballot in the June primary, June 7.
