Good morning and happy New Year’s readers of the Vanguard. 2017 was a tough year in a lot of ways, but as an organization the vanguard has emerged with a strong and positive fund balance thanks to the generosity of its readers. We worked hard to expand our subscriber program of monthly donations – and it helped reduce our monthly need to “beg” for donations greatly.
However that gap is not closed and so in 2018 we have two primary goals.
First – to increase our subscriber base to the point where we can pay our current obligations. Second, to expand beyond our current funding levels so that we can hire additional staff and expand our operations.
