ACLU Criticizes Senate’s Budget Bill for Endangering Civil Rights and Vulnerable Communities
The ACLU has criticized the Senate’s approval of H.R. 1, the “so-called One Big Beautiful Bill Act”, for gutting Medicaid, cutting off access to Planned Parenthood services, and redirecting funds towards a deportation apparatus, which would deny due process and violate human rights.
