Democratic Women’s Caucus Proposes Bill to Revoke Expanded Global Gag Rule Restrictions
The Protecting Human Rights and Public Health in Foreign Assistance Act has been introduced by the Congressional Democratic Women’s Caucus to reverse the Trump administration’s expansion of the Global Gag Rule, which they say could put the health services and rights of women, girls and LGBTQ+ communities in jeopardy.
