April 8, 2009 show – Sara Steffens was a reporter working for the Contra Costa Times. She began organizing to form a union to protect workers and reporters from layoffs and other labor issues. Suddenly she found herself on the end of harassment and intimidation. She would succeed in helping to unionize the Times but at the cost of her own job.
