The City of Davis Police Department is on the growing list of police departments nationwide that will be implementing a body-worn camera program for sworn officers. The Department has been field testing various cameras for the last several months and is in the process of making a final decision on the type of camera that will be purchased. Additionally, the Department is in the process of drafting a policy that covers how the camera will be used. Department administration will be on-hand to able to share information regarding the cameras and policy considerations for use.
