The Davis Phoenix Coalition and the Yolo Interfaith Immigration Network (YIIN) are hosting a forum titled “Separating Fear from Facts: A Forum on Immigration and Refugees” on Wednesday, January 6th. This program is focused on educating the community on current events, covering the laws that affect those coming into our country, as well as refugees and migrants in our own region. Featured speakers will be Holly Cooper, Barbara Miltner and Rachel Ray from UC Davis School of Law, and Kristina McKibben from the California Rural Legal Assistance Foundation (CRLAF). This free event is open to the public and will be from 7-9pm in the Davis Community Church Fellowship Hall at 412 C Street, Davis, CA 95616. Community questions are invited.
