Assemblymember Bill Dodd will host a Forum on Women’s Empowerment and Equality at UC Davis. The forum will feature expert panelists discussing issues like gender pay equity and advancement of women and girls in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) and business fields.
“We need to ensure that all Californians have the chance to succeed, and that means empowering women to pursue careers in business and STEM fields, and ensuring that they receive equal pay for equal work,” said Assemblymember Dodd.
