Davis native Jesse Froehlich Savou, owner and founder of BlueBarrel Rainwater Catchment Systems, will be conducting her only 2016 Davis rainwater harvesting workshop on Saturday March 5. This will be a hands-on workshop at which participants will install a 7-barrel (385 gallon) system at a west Davis home. Register at www.bluebarrelsystems.com.
Cost is $40 but entitles registrants to 15% off on the purchase of their own BlueBarrel system, which run in the $155 to $300 range, depending upon capacity. Exact address of workshop will be provided upon registration.
