Cecilia Aguiar-Curry – a farmer, businesswoman and the first woman Mayor of the City of Winters – has been endorsed by former Davis Mayor Dan Wolk, one of her opponents in the June Election for Assembly District 4.
“I am proud to support Cecilia Aguiar-Curry for Assembly. As the former Mayor of Davis, I respect Cecilia’s tenacious leadership style and her ability to drive the revitalization of Winters forward. Her knowledge and understanding of how to spur economic development at the local level is greatly needed in the Assembly,” said Wolk in announcing his endorsement.
Cecilia, a Democrat, is running to replace Bill Dodd in the seat he is vacating in order to run for Senate. The 4th Assembly District includes all of Napa and Lake counties, most of Yolo, and portions of Solano, Sonoma and Colusa counties.
