Life in 11 Dimensions

11DPamela Trokanski will holding a Life in 11 Dimensions crowdfunding campaign which will run through September 20, 2016. While the main emphasis will be on the online Indiegogo.com crowd funding platform, community members are also welcome to contribute directly at the Pamela Trokanski Dance Workshop, 2720 Del Rio Place, in Davis, 95618.
Why a crowd funding campaign? According to her local lender and her SBA representative, Trokanski has enough equity in the property to get a construction loan. What she doesn’t have is the $400,000 liquid capital needed for everything that needs to be done, and paid for, including the full set of architectural plans, before she can access the equity and get the construction loan.
Trokanski’s vision of Life in 11 Dimensions is the creation of a unique and innovative environment where everyone and anyone can find all the ingredients needed to live their best life ever…Creativity, Education, Wellness, Relaxation, and Community. Initial plans for the 22,300 square foot two story building were approved by the Planning Commission last October 2015, and enthusiastically and unanimously approved by the Davis City Council at their November 3rd meeting the following month. Since that time, the project has been on hold while Trokanski researched how much liquid capital would be needed before she was able to arrange for the construction loan.
While asking for help on this project is a challenge in itself, partly because Trokanski believes she should be able to do this on her own, she decided that it was worth asking for support from the community. For more information on this project, including potential users groups, the expansion of already existing programs in the arts and education into the new space, outreach programs to under-served members of the community, and more, please contact Trokanski at pamela@trokanski.com
