Meet School Board Candidate Poppenga At Common Grounds And Toad Hollow

Bob Poppenga, candidate for Davis School Boards, invites the public to meet him this Friday and Sunday.
On Friday, October 14, from 9 to 10 a.m., Bob will be at Common Grounds at Oakshade Town Center, 2171 Cowell Boulevard. 
On Sunday, October 16, from 2 to 3:30 p.m., Bob will be at Toad Hollow Dog Park at 1919 Second Street with treats for your pet. 
Come join Bob, learn about his candidacy, and bring any questions you have.  
Bob is committed to working for quality public educational programs that allow each child to reach his or her full potential.   He has been a university educator for 30 years and is active in the District and community.   He has been a member the District’s Parcel Tax Oversight Committee, Local Control Accountability Plan Professional Development Team, and the Career and Technical Education/STEAM Advisory Committee. He has facilitated a partnership between the UCD School of Veterinary Medicine and Davis High School.  As a community member, he is on the Board of the Explorit Science Center and its Program Committee and he actively participates on the Youth Services Committee of the Davis Sunrise Rotary Club.
