Dodd-BillDodd Hosted In Dixon for Local Meeting; Announces Endorsements From Dixon Leaders

Local leaders hosted a get-to-know-you event for Napa County Supervisor and 4th Assembly District candidate Bill Dodd.  At the event Dodd announced he had secured several endorsements from Solano County and Dixon elected leaders, both past and present.

Solano County Supervisors Jim Spering, John Vasquez and Mike Reagan (ret.), District Attorney Don DuBain, Dixon City Councilman Steve Bird, and former Dixon mayors Mary Ann Courville, Joe Anderson, and Don Erickson all endorsed Dodd’s candidacy.

“Being from an agricultural county, I really identify with this community, its heritage, and its challenges,” said Dodd. “I’ve had the privilege to work with several Solano County leaders and am honored to have them become part of this campaign.

“Together, we’ll do a lot of good for the people of Solano County.”

“Bill and I serve together on the Metropolitan Transportation Commission,” said Supervisor Jim Spering. “He’s a guy who makes things happen, and that includes helping to secure major funding for Solano County road and highway projects.”

Retired Mayor Mary Ann Courville and her husband, Ken, hosted the event at their home, which was open to the public and well-attended.

Dodd is a Democrat from Napa County. After a successful 25-year business career, he has served four terms on the Napa County Board of Supervisors.

The 4th Assembly District includes all of Napa and Lake Counties, and portions of Colusa, Solano, Sonoma and Yolo Counties.
