The Davis Roots Business Incubator is offering a seven-class “Build Your Own Business” series. The 90 minute courses are open to the public at no cost, are held at 604 2nd Street in Davis and begin on Monday September 21st – 6:00 to 7:30 – and run through December.
The first four workshops are:
9/21 – Starting the Startup taught by Andy Hargadon, Professor at UCD’s Graduate School of Management.
9/28 – Customer Validation taught by Chris Soderquist, Director, RepowerYolo.
10/12 – The Legal Side of Starting Up taught by David Richardson, Partner at DLA Piper.
10/26 – Go to Market Strategies taught by Stephany Cavatoni formerly VP of Strategic Accounts at Realtor.com.
The three remaining dates and courses: 11/9 – Minimum Viable Product – Product and Technology, 11/30 – Building the Team and 12/14 Business Validation.
