Johansson Files Paperwork for District Attorney

Dean Johansson (right), a Yolo County Deputy Public Defender, is seen here Thursday with a county elections worker filing his final paperwork to get on the June ballot for District Attorney of Yolo County – one day before the Friday deadline.

Johansson said: “We filed our candidate statements in English and Spanish, and paid all our fees today. I feel great and I’m ready for the final three months of the campaign; we have a tremendous grassroots volunteer crew and our people campaign is coming together. I never thought or planned to be in this position to be able to help all of the people of Yolo County, to work for Smart Justice and make Yolo County a leader in criminal justice reform by providing transparency to all of our residents.”
