Hundreds of individuals detained at New Jersey’s Delaney Hall immigration facility initiated a hunger and labor strike, citing medical neglect, spoiled food, and other inhumane conditions. This protest, which garnered support from community members and elected officials, coincided with similar strikes across at least five other detention centers nationwide.
