I still don’t know why Reisig won’t be recognized for his creation of the neighborhood court program.
A lot of reasons Mr. Obvious.
First, the two attorneys were are honoring died this year and made major contributions to social justice.
Second, we tried several things this year to bring awareness to neighborhood court and the DA’s office essentially nixed them.
But Reisig is bringing a huge progressive change to the justice system in Yolo County. You could add three minutes to the program for a little recognition. I’m sure there will be people there from out of the area that do not know the positive changes Reisig is bringing.
How could Reisig nix your plans to promote the neighborhood courts? You have this forum.
I applaud your choice of recipients. All well deserved.
Will our Davis judges Rosenburg and Maquire be recognized?
The people that will be recognized are on the list above.
