On May 12, 2014, the Davis Community Church hosted the Community Values Forum which was an opportunity for members of the public to engage with the City Council candidates before the upcoming election. This forum was sponsored by Davis Community Church and Davis Media Access.

Questions at this Forum focused on the candidates’ understanding of the values held by the greater Davis community as well as personal characteristics the candidates possess for leading our city.

It focused less on specific issues and more on underlying values that guide candidates’ decision-making.

Example topics incluced: social justice, conflict management, communication, social ethics and leadership style.
