Senator Dodd Hosts Davis “Know Your Rights” Forum on Immigration

(From Press Release) – Senator Bill Dodd and Assemblymember Cecilia Aguiar-Curry will host a “Know Your Rights” community forum on immigration in Davis on Monday, April 17. All residents of Davis and Yolo County are encouraged to attend this free event.

The forum will feature speakers from nonprofit immigrant service providers, legal services, and local law enforcement. Local organizations will also be on site to share resources and information on immigration services and immigration law.

“I have received hundreds of calls and emails this year from residents concerned about federal immigration action and immigrant rights,” said Senator Dodd. “This forum will allow attendees to get answers to questions about the law, pending policies, and  resources available to immigrants.”

WHEN:        Monday, April 17th from 6 – 8 p.m.

WHERE:     UC Davis School of Law, King Hall Room 1001 (400 Mrak Hall Drive, Davis)
