Eric Gudz for Davis City Council is Holding Space for Engaged Citizens

(From Press Release) – In the spirit of camaraderie and community, the Eric Gudz for Davis City Council campaign is inviting all residents and citizens to join Eric Gudz every Monday evening until Election Day (June 5th) for a Happy Hour at Woodstock’s Pizza (219 G Street) from 6-7 pm to share your thoughts for the future of Davis. You will meet others in the community that are part of our movement, learn about volunteering opportunities, and have a blast with your fellow Davis community members!

In addition to Happy Hours, the Eric Gudz for Davis City Council Team will also be holding Economic Town Halls every other Monday (starting April 2nd) until Election Day (June 5th) at Kobe Mini Mart (underground lounge, 213 E Street) from 7-8 pm to hear from you and your perspective on what Davis economic development means to you. At these town halls, you will:

  • Meet with Davis Business People downtown and around our city
  • Help build a model of the Davis Economy
  • Learn how city policy affects local businesses
  • Figure out how to be a socially and community-minded entrepreneur and help others
  • Join Eric’s Davis Economy Team! (Part of the Campaign for Eric Gudz for Davis City Council)

After coming out in full force to address the need for more equitable representation on the council, hundreds of citizens have showed their support for Eric Gudz both in-person and online. “The display of enthusiasm for our movement has been incredibly motivating so far and I’m looking forward to meeting many more citizens over the next few months so I can learn and share their stories”, Gudz expressed in response to the outpouring of support. Over 100 people count themselves as donors to the campaign.
