(From Press Release)– Sudwerk Brewing Co. will donate 100 percent of its taproom proceeds on Saturday, Jan. 26, to the Natalie Corona Memorial Fund.
The fundraiser is from 2 to 9 p.m. at The Dock, 2001 Second St. in Davis. The event will include live music, with the one-man band Doc Tari performing from 3 to 6 p.m., and classic blues from Julie and the Jukes from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The musicians are donating their time.
The food truck Street Cravings will be there, and will donate a portion of its proceeds to the fundraiser.
“The recent tragedy and loss of Officer Corona left a void in our small community that will never be filled,” Sudwerk co-owner and Davis native Trent Yackzan said. “We cannot imagine the pain Officer Corona’s family is going through, and we feel it’s our duty to support them and the Davis Police. We’re grateful to be part of such a tight-knit community, and thankful for all that Davis PD does to protect us.”
