League of Women Voters Candidates Forum Tonight @ 7:00 pm in Council Chambers

Davis-City-Council-Elections-2014-IconDear Citizens of Davis,

You are invited to participate with the candidates for City Council in a League of Women Voters Candidates Night Forum tonight, Wednesday, May 7, 2014 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm in the City Council Chambers, 23 Russell Blvd. We hope that many Davis citizens will be able to attend

Questions were sent to the candidates by email last week. We should have a very informed and informative event.

The Forum will consist of two parts. The first part consist of the candidates’ answers to the League of Women Voters questions. The second part consists of the candidates’ answers to questions submitted by the audience.

Rochelle Swanson will not be able to participate because she is in Washington, DC advocating for the City of Davis as part of the Sacramento Metro Chamber’s annual Capital-to-Capital (Cap to Cap) Advocacy Trip. All four of the other City Council candidates, Sheila Allen, Robb Davis, John Munn and Daniel Parrella will be participating.

We look forward to seeing you tonight.

Jean Lund, co-president, League of Women Voters of Davis
