Pancakes & Politics – November Election Discussion – Saturday 10AM – 2PM

Join fellow politically aware-ish Davisoids for the pre-election “Pancakes & Politics” discussion this Saturday.

Want to vote in the November 6th election, but you’re not sure what for?   Join us for a fun and informative, serious and syrupy, hive-minded political discussion.  All political stripes welcome!

This election’s Pancakes & Politics will take place Saturday, October 6th 10am to 2:00pm at the N Street Co-Housing community room at 716 N Street, Davis.

To join in, sign up to research just one ballot item at:

https://tinyurl.com/PanPol-Oct2018

Or email us at:  pancakes.politics.davis@gmail.com, and we’ll get you started.  We’ll send you some voter info links after you sign up, to help you figure out what’s what and who’s who in that big ballot book.

You’ll have 5 minutes to present both sides of the issue and give us your take.  Then we’ll discuss each item as a group and take a straw poll. Please consider researching an issue that you’re not so familiar with so that you and the group learns something about everything.

If you are so inclined afterward, draft up your research, what we learned from the discussion, and add any wacky humor you may wish to inject into 2-3 paragraphs.  We’ll add some awesome cartoons to create a fun and informative election zine for Davis voters.

See you Saturday!
