Gamaliel Cortes is a fourth-year English Major at the University of California, Irvine. He is currently an Arts Writer for UCI's Claire Trevor School of Arts where he is responsible for creating articles for art students of interest, highlighting their artistic accomplishments. He hopes to refine his interest in English, shaped by his early navigation of English, Spanish, and Slang, to become a Critical Theory professor, galvanizing students to interrogate power relations and inequalities.
