Archer Campaign Events Are Hosted By Eastin And Albertson; Neighborhood Walks Start Sunday

Barbara Archer for School Board 2014 announced this week that Delaine Eastin, the former California Superintendent of Public Instruction and Archer’s honorary campaign chair, will host an event for Archer’s campaign at her home at 4228 Dogwood Place in Davis on Thursday, Sept. 18, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Ann Evans, former Davis mayor, Lucas Frerichs, Davis City Councilmember, Bob Schelen, chair of the Yolo County Democratic Party, and community member Lindsay Weston will co-host the event.

Community member and schools volunteer Sally Albertson will host a “TGIF” party for Archer at her home at 3111 Northfield Court in Davis on Friday, Sept. 19, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Archer’s campaign will also be walking neighborhoods every Sunday starting September 14. Please meet at Sycamore Park at 10 a.m. to get walking folders. If you want to walk a neighborhood at another time, please contact walk coordinator Stephany Cavatoni at stephanycavatoni@gmail.com.

Sunder For School Board Is Energized And Active!

Madhavi Sunder and her team of invigorated campaign volunteers continue spreading their message of “Strong Schools/Strong Davis!”  The public is invited to meet the team at Sunder’s booth this Saturday, September 13 at the Farmers’ Market.  Sunder’s team will also walking precincts in South Davis on Sunday, September 14.  Finally, join the Sunder team for its “Back to School Kickoff” celebration hosted by the Zaragoza Family & Delaine Eastin, Former California Superintendent of Public Instruction on Tuesday, September 16 at 5p.m. at the Zaragoza Family Residence in East Davis.  To RSVP this kickoff, please visit http://www.sunderforschools.org/back_to_school_kickoff_party
