In a note, Don Saylor wrote: “As county supervisor, I asked why our corner of California had the most productive farmland in the world, but one in four children are still at risk of going hungry. I put together Food Connect to help kids, seniors and low-wage workers get access to healthy foods.”
He added, “I’m running for Assembly, because I want all Californians to thrive. We need fresh ideas backed by experience to get the job done. I spent my life solving problems and getting government to work for us. With your help, we can get the California Assembly working too.”
i guess no one sees the irony of this – a man who worked with kids in cages advocating for healthy children?
