Yolo Association of Realtors Endorse Carson and West

The Yolo County Association of REALTORS® announced its endorsement of Dan Carson and Mark West for Davis City Council.

The endorsements were made following a forum the association sponsored and held early in May where each of the 9 candidates or their representatives addressed those present on housing related issues. The association then began an exhaustive internal selection process where each candidate’s prior professional background and political experience, and their views on housing issues and smart growth principles, were discussed and considered.

“Mark West’s staunch pro-housing values make him an obvious choice for us and Dan Carson’s proven leadership as Chair of the City’s Finance and Budget Commission and his experience as a Deputy Legislative Analyst for the Legislative Analyst’s Office (LAO) convinced us he was the most qualified for office” said Nick Marin, Executive Director for the Yolo County Association of REALTORS®.

The Yolo County Association of REALTORS® is a non-profit trade association that represents the real estate community in Yolo County. Our mission is to provide our members with opportunities for professional growth and community engagement, and to promote ethical business practices and the protection of individual property rights.
