The Committee to Elect Melissa Moreno for Yolo County Board of Education, Area 2, has announced that Candidate Melissa Moreno will be busy meeting and greeting voters at the following events in Area 2:
* On Friday , August 23rd, at the 27th Annual Earthquake Festival taking place at Railroad and Main St. in Downtown Winters from 5pm to 11pm.
* Saturday, August 25th at the Davis Farmers Market from 8am to 12 pm meeting and greeting voters and answering questions.
Meet Moreno at the “Get Out the Vote” training at Davis Senior Center at 1pm
*Friday, August 31st
Community members are invited to attend a Fiesta & Fundraiser from 4-7 pm at 715 Malaga Ave, Davis. There will be refreshments, music, and a welcoming by Supervisor Don Saylor (former Cesar Chavez Elementary School Parent), Mayor Pro Tem Gloria Partida, Community Member Rick Ramirez (Melissa’s former academic adviser), and surprise guest. Suggested donation $25.
