(From Press Release) – Moreno for Yolo County Board of Education Committee is holding a Campaign Kickoff Celebration on Sunday, August 19th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Village Homes Community Center in Davis, located at 2661 Portage Bay East.
Refreshments will he provided, as well as music by David Campos and Zapato Viejo and poetry by Ernesto Garay. Welcoming words will be shared by current Trustee Bill Owens, Mayor Pro Tem Gloria Partida, Winters Councilwomen Jesse Loren, Friend Dr. Belinda Lum, and Supervisor Don Saylor.
There is a donation of $25, but all are welcomed. Different sponsorship levels are also available. Moreno is a candidate for Yolo County Board of Education, Area 2 and the election is November 6th.
