Lawsuit Targets PG&E, County Over Gas Explosion That Hospitalized Six
A Bay Area law firm, Cotchett, Pitre & McCarthy, LLP, initiated legal proceedings against Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E), Alameda County, and additional named entities, representing the Duneas family whose Ashland residence was destroyed in a December 2025 gas explosion. The incident resulted in the hospitalization of six individuals and severe injuries to several family members, with the complaint alleging negligence and a failure to issue timely warnings regarding a gas leak prior to the destructive event.
