ICE Presence in California Courts Deters Immigrants from Attending Hearings
ICE agents have been seen in Northern California immigration courts, asking people for their names and identification, and potentially coordinating with agents outside to arrest individuals, which has resulted in one arrest and a decrease in courtroom attendance.
