Question of the Day

question_mark1Today’s question: Do you think City Hall is well run?

Have a question you want to ask? Log onto your twitter account and tweet it to us using the hashtag: #DavisVanguard

This is a new feature.  Each afternoon we will have a question that we pose the Vanguard community.  Sometimes it will be a local issue, sometimes a national issue, and sometimes a deeper and more philosophic question.

  1. I think Pinkerton is the best City Manager I can remember us employing. I also think the new council works together respectfully and without the rancor of the past. All in all I am happier today with how things are going than in all my years here.

  2. Depends on what you mean by “City Hall.” If you’re talking about the majority of the employees working there, I’d say yes. City Hall is more than the City Manager and the Council. It is the building dept. people, finance people, many other people that make the city run. And every one I know is a hard working employee that focuses on doing his or her job right. I have had many interactions with “City Hall,” and every one of them has been positive.
